The Youth Employment & Skills Development Institute (YESDI) is a forward-looking TVET consultancy and training organization in Bangladesh, dedicated to empowering youth through innovative education, industry-aligned skills, and sustainable career pathways. Functioning as a strategic enabler, YESDI strengthens technical training systems, enhances trainer capacity, and fosters digital transformation to bridge the gap between education and employment.

 

Rooted in innovation, collaboration, inclusivity, empowerment, and sustainability, YESDI facilitates SME integration into the TVET sector, and establishes industry partnerships to ensure demand-driven workforce solutions. Our core initiatives span TVET consultancy, institutional capacity building, digital learning, skills-based entrepreneurship, apprenticeship models, and workforce development programs.

Objective: 

  • Increase the capacity of 150+ trainers annually through specialized training programs.
  • Support at least 50+ SMEs in integrating with the TVET sector by 2026.
  • Facilitate industry linkages for at least 500 TVET graduates per year.
  • Establish 8 new TVET institutions with NSDA accreditation support by 2027.
  • Promote digital learning through e-learning and virtual platforms.  
  • Implement TVET policies and strategies for sustainable skills development.

 

Implementation Strategy:

  • Develop partnerships with Industry and Private stakeholders.
  • Establish regional training hubs for on-site practical learning.
  • Integrate digital learning platforms for accessibility and scalability.
  • Adopt a blended learning model (online + physical) to increase outreach.
  • Utilize data-driven monitoring and evaluation for continuous improvement.
